Brazil Chokes
The Brazilian team choked against France today. They lost 1-0 on a beautifully executed free kick play by France. France moves on to play Portugal in the semi-finals. The winner of France vs Portugal will take on the winner of Germany vs Italy for the World Cup Championship.I think that Germany will pull it off. They look strong. After being beaten 2-0 by Brazil in the 2002 World Cup Final, I'm sure that they want it more than anyone else does right now.
Well, I'm no longer in the mood to play my FIFA 2006 soccer game on the computer. Brazil is gone, so my soccer mood is gone. I'll go back to first-person shooters now.

It's ok. It happens to everybody eventually. Although I now find myself in an awkward position of cheering for France. I don't want Portugal to win another game. They just play really dirty. However, I'm not a French fan either.
ReplyDeleteIn any case...let's hope that Germany wins. They should. They've got talent. Plus there's a history there of dominating Europian countries, right?
Finally no more soccer. Thank goodness. Also I am kinda teeved that England lost now. And my new motto is "Anybody but France"
ReplyDeleteHmm.....
ReplyDeleteUSA...gone.
UK...gone.
Brazil...gone.
Germany...gone.
France, Portugal, and Italy....wasn't this one of the original axes of evil?
Oh well. Go Italy???
